I have not heard any schedule for these bills. There was a hearing last week, but I couldn't find the outcome of the full hearing. May be someone from IV Core can tell us what is scheduled for the coming days.

picked up a rebel a few months ago, but just got around to using it recently.

I don't recall the exact settings off hand, but the lense is a cheap canon
75-300mm I picked up for $200 bucks. I believe it was shot at F5.6@ 300mm
with a 1/40 shutter on a tripod.

I went to pre 2007 DC rally work to distribute the IV material, attended the 2007 DC rally before you joined here. Helped few people with the transaportation to and from airport.

I have just signed a contract to buy a new home.
The first step is to be eligible for mortgage.
During an interview with mortgage counsellor, she asked my visa status.
I tried explaining her that I was not on H1 and had not received GC yet, that I am on EAD.
But she did not understand it. She only understands H1 or GreenCard.
I am not on H1 since I changed my employer and it expires this October.
I have also travelled on Advanced parole.
Recent EAD is good until 2010.
Can anyone help?

Because if the person applying via EB based Green Card is married and if has children that many number of visas are used up when his application is approved, so even the petition was done for just 1 person, possibly, 2-3 unnecessary visas are being used up.

Easiest option is to get a PIO card - very long validity, no need to get visa every time.

1.Did anybody have recently got H1B stamping done in Hyderabad consultate.
2. Any issues with getting appointment dates.
3. I have all the documentation in place including pay stubs in the last 8 years.
4. Is it preferable to get stamping done in Canada than in Hyderabad,
5. How many days does it take to get the passport back.
Please share me your experiences,

"I would like to hear your professional opinion on the following issue: I have been on F-1 visa for 7 consecutive years. I have an employer that has sponsored me as a Graphic Designer. In fact I have obtained the I-140 through him already. I recently applied for employment AOS (July 25th) with my wife (She is on F2 visa) and I'm currently waiting on the Notice Receipt. School starts on August 20th and I'm hesitant on when exactly the new Immigrant Status starts. Do I still need to enroll for classes in order to maintain my visa? I don't intend to finish school due to financial difficulties, when exactly may I drop out from school? Should I remain enrolled up until I receive the EAD and AP? Thanks in advance for your response."

USCIS is increasing fees of various applications from 23, November 10

Is there anyway we can find the fee strcutrure that was inplace in 1999, 2000. Later there was an increase around 2001 i think. My point is if we can present the facts in a nice manner to IV core team, may be they can come up with a plan to shed more light, potentially plan of action

Based on your approved I-140 if you are eligible to file 485 or get EAD then he can also get EAD.
But using only approved I-140 , then only the beneficiary can get extended.

I am a US Citizen who applied through I-130 form for my married daughter since 2001. She and her husband came here with a tourist visa in 2003 and they overstayed it for a period of 6 years. In the meatime, they had 2 americam kids. They are still in the USA.
I am starting to receiving document from NVC to pay $70 for Affidavit of Support for their cases. I would like to know if an Adjustment of Status can be made for them here in the USA as the immigration does not know where they are right now. I presumed also that they can't return back to their country of origin cause they've been here for so long that they could get caught and get penalized. They have never been employed but received support from the family members and their kids received welfare aids.
What can be done if I want to Adjust their status here? Thank you already for your answers.
