Hi,

I am planning to apply for Alberta Nomination Program under NOC (Manufacturing and Industrial Engineers). Does anybody has any experience with this NOC. Also, I need to know how does this process work. I apply for ANP and when I need to move I apply for jobs and then I get work permit...right ? Then if I need to get a TN visa to come back to usa how do I do that. I have a house in chicago, so wondering if renting that out could be an option for me when I immigrate to alberta so that when I need I can come to chicago. I am in my 5th year of H1B and with the current scenario my present company is not going to start my GC (it stopped because of layoffs in the company).

Friends,

With only 3 weeks left in Sep 2008 (keeping in mind that my PD is current since Aug-01), I have decided to contact DHS Ombudsman and Congressman for help.

But I dont know how to start.

I read the posting from googler.

Does any one know?


Also, how do I go about contacting Congressman? I can look up their address but dont know how to make a first move? should I write to him directly or should I call his office and explain over phone?

Thanks a lot. This is more in depth and I am not understood how these things work.

So if I have MS+ 0 then I think I have to post my ad for JobZone 5. In that case, my SVP will be 7 because MS = 4 yrs and 0 expr = nothing. So i will not exceed SVP 7.

So is the combination,

JobZone 5 with an SVP 7 will work for MS+0 ?


Also for a software developer or related work, i don't see JobZone5. What kind of positions suit for JobZone 5 in SOFTWARE DEVELOPER'S world ?

Anybody know about these things ? please drop in your thoughts

I have a pending I- 485 in EB2 and My spouse has a pending 485 in EB3 since 2007. We both are using EAD and on AOS. We got married recently, and my PD became current now.

What is the best way to make use of this situation and add my spouse to my pending 485?

Do we have to file another fresh I - 485 or is there a way to link his EB3 485 application with mine?

If I have to file a new 485, what are the documents needed apart from Marriage certificate, Since my spouse is already on EAD and working, Do I still have to send affidavit of support, my pay slips, w2, EVL etc.? Do we have to send medicals again? Kindly clarify my questions. Help is appreciated.

hi
we are paying social security and medicare taxes where as we are not entitle to any of this benefits. they are taking this taxes based on giving permanent status but they have slowed green card processing near to impossible. that's fine, but taking social security taxes is not right when we are certainly not going to part of that system.
they must stop those taxes till green card is processed.

started as an intern with local in the month of march 06 and I was given offer till end of august. but my school official gave me work permit on a semester basis and gave it only for srping 06, which end in may 15th. I couldn't update my CPT status for 1 day for summer 06 and started on 16th may, so the school official has said that i am out of status.Since re-instatement is not possible from school as it was unauthorized work permit. They have advised me to go to home country and attend visa to be eligible for reinstatement. I have grauduated last month with masters of science..

They said they will provide me recommendation letter for me to show to consular officer. Also, I have an MBA admit in same university for spring 2007.

so should i come to new program..if thats the case how to get an emergency appoitment.
